SUMMER 2026
ART CAMP REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
CREATIVE OPPORTUNITIES FOR CREATIVE MINDS
CAMPS, LESSONS, & ARTIST MENTORING
JUNE 8th - 12th • 9am-3pm
Join Matty and Greg for a special camp where kids can explore both music and art!
At Music & Art Camp days are filled with global rhythms, melodies, and hands-on instrument exploration. Try special instruments like West African xylophones, Afro-Caribbean hand drums, Irish frame drums, Zimbabwean thumb pianos, vibraphone, and more!
Complementing their music explorations, kids will draw inspiration from the fun tunes and instruments to create visual art that sings. Campers will make art inspired by music and sound, even creating instruments they can play themselves. Young artists and musicians will explore the delightful connections between music and art.
Music will be led by Dr. Greg Tanner Harris, a versatile multi-instrumentalist. Greg’s performance experience ranges from jazz vibraphone to piano, percussion, and west African xylophone. He teaches around the Front Range at Denver School of the Arts, UCD, and more.
Here’s what the week looks like:
Half of each day spent making music and half creating art
Hands-on experience with instruments from around the world
Project-based lessons connecting concepts like pattern, harmony, and contrast
Building confidence through rhythm, improvisation, and collaboration
By the end of the week, campers will head home with music-inspired art and will share their musical learning through a backyard show!
All kid community members (ages 6 and up) are welcome at camp! This is a safe space for everybody. Kindness, inclusivity, and equitable access are the foundation of our vibrant artistic community. Younger kids might want to buddy up with a friend they already know for their best camp experience.

PetShop Art Camp invites young artists to create their very own handmade pet through sculpture, painting, and design. Campers will explore imagination, care, and creativity while thinking about what pets need to feel safe, cozy, and loved.
During the week, campers will look at photos of real pets currently in shelters and create a pet portrait to help them get adopted. The camp wraps up with a joyful PetShop-style gallery where kids share their creations and celebrate their work together.
Here’s what the week looks like:
Sculpting a paper mâché pet from start to finish
Designing pet accessories like bowls, collars, toys, and beds
Creating a painted pet portrait inspired by real shelter animals
Exploring empathy, care, and storytelling through art
Lots of materials, guided support, and room for imagination
By the end of the week, campers will head home with a handmade pet, accessories, and artwork they can imagine worlds with and bring to life…plus a week’s worth of creative adventures to remember.

JUNE 29th - JULY 3rd • 9am-3pm
Art Explorers is a camp designed for kids who love art and want to explore their creativity! The focus of this camp is giving kids the freedom to make their own choices and try out different art mediums. Kids will have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of art forms such as painting, drawing, sculpture, and printmaking. They’ll have access to lots of fun art supplies, and we’ll be on hand to guide them and offer tips and tricks. As art explorers, campers will learn through experimentation and play. They’ll be encouraged to take risks and try new things while enjoying being an artist and having autonomy to create what they imagine.
Structured group work in the morning, lunch and stories in the backyard, then self-directed creative time in the afternoon. We’ll play group games and take trips to the park for movement breaks throughout the week.
Here’s what the week looks like:
Open-ended art stations stocked with lots of materials to explore
Brainstorming and idea-generating exercises to spark creativity
Emphasis on process over product and creative risk-taking
Hands-on support and guidance from art teachers throughout the day
Choice-driven projects…campers decide what to make and how to make it
By the end of the week, campers will head home with creations they’ve dreamed up and fun memories with other kid artists.
All kid community members (ages 6 and up) are welcome at camp! This is a safe space for everybody. Kindness, inclusivity, and equitable access are the foundation of our vibrant artistic community. Younger kids might want to buddy up with a friend they already know for their best camp experience.

KIND WORDS FROM OUR COMMUNITY
Having worked with many art teachers and camps, I can say I’ve never met another artist who values the child’s innate creativity and perspective more than Matty.
Genery
Art camp was a big hit with my son (7) this summer! The camp is a mix of age groups and kids have the choice of working individually or collaborating with another camper. My son loved having a design theme in the morning, then would spend the afternoon crafting whatever his heart desired. They build a sweet connection over the course of the week. I remember my son came home with a stack of Artist Cards—each of the campers design their own set of cards (think business cards) and they exchange them with one another. I highly recommend, and you will see my son back there next summer!
